Pascale Studer
Perimenopause specialist, former pharmaceutical leader, and someone who has navigated this transition herself.
I know this transition from the inside.
I'm Pascale Studer, founder of the second bloom.
Like many of the women I work with, I experienced perimenopause without fully understanding what was happening. The fatigue that rest didn't fix. The brain fog that made me question my own capabilities. The quiet, unsettling feeling of no longer recognizing myself, and not knowing where to turn.
I searched for answers. I found fragments.
What I didn't find was a space where all the pieces could be examined together, where my history, my symptoms, my biology, and my life were considered as a whole rather than one symptom at a time.
That experience, combined with everything I've learned since, is what led me to build the second bloom.
Not to help women find their way back to who they were before.
But to help them build a new balance, one that's grounded in understanding, adapted to this stage of life, and genuinely sustainable.
In environments where scientific rigor, evidence-based thinking, and human complexity all have to coexist, I learned how to read research critically, think systemically, and translate knowledge into real-life practice... Understanding not only what the science says, but what actually works in the complexity of everyday life.
This is the foundation of an approach that combines scientific evidence with practical, lived application.
23 years in international pharmaceutical organizations.
A deep, dedicated expertise built specifically around this period of life, covering the hormonal and physiological dimensions, the neurological and metabolic impacts, the emotional and identity dimensions, and how all of these interact with stress, lifestyle, and the professional environment. Continuously updated as the science evolves.
Specialized training in the perimenopausal transition.
Beyond the theory and the training, I've lived it. That matters. Not because lived experience replaces expertise, but because it shapes how I listen, what I notice, and how I accompany each woman I work with.
Personal experience of perimenopause.
My approach brings together three dimensions that are rarely combined: 23 years of experience in science-driven environments, specialized expertise in the perimenopausal transition, and personal experience of living through it myself.
I don't believe in choosing between science and lived experience. The most meaningful transformation happens where evidence, expertise, and real life meet and where each woman is seen not as a collection of symptoms, but as a whole, complex human being.
Science-informed. Experience-grounded. Deeply human.

A little more about me
I find my greatest refuge in nature.
Walking in the forest, breathing deeply, reconnecting with something living and unhurried helps me recharge my batteries.
Aerial yoga changed something for me.
The sensation of being held, suspended, weightless for a few moments, the mind quiets and everything feels lighter. It's my reset button.
I have a weakness for real peanut butter.
100% peanuts, nothing added. I could put it on almost anything. Some things in life are non-negotiable.
